Mulgrave River
The Mulgrave River lies in the catchment area for two of Queensland’s highest mountains, Bellenden Ker and Bartle Frere. We join this impressive, freshwater river at Gordonvale, which is a 30-minute drive south of Cairns city.
Beloved by locals for its gentle running waters, the Mulgrave River is cool at all times of the year, providing a refreshing place to beat the heat and chill out. Our half day Cairns tubing tour on the Mulgrave River provides calm water floating with a combination of small, fun white water rapids.
The Aussie Drifterz rainforest river tubing tour is popular with people of all ages and we can guarantee, it’s the most fun you can have while floating.
The Tubing Tour
This tour is enjoyed by people of all ages, from 5 years of age. No previous tubing experience is necessary, as all equipment and instruction is provided, plus you are accompanied by professional river guides for the duration of your river adventure. They are predominately morning departures from Cairns, Palm Cove and the Northern Beaches, with afternoon departures available on demand and pending season.
